The Joliet West High School Girls Bowling Team will compete at the IHSA State Competition at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, IL this weekend. They advanced to state after finishing as the champions of the Girls Bowling Sectional at Minooka with a team score of 6124 and Brooklin Chavez finishing as the individual champion with a score of 1388.  They are coached by Jeff Bailey and Larry Warwick.

Bailey said, “As a team we are excited to be advancing to the State Finals once again. We have expressed all season long the importance of staying together as a team, and that is exactly what they did to win Sectionals. All girls on the roster were able to bowl and contribute to the success we had. We are very confident going into this weekend.”

JTHS congratulates the JWHS Girls Bowling Team on their success and cheers them on as they proceed to the IHSA State Finals.
