Large Lincoln Monument Erected In Springfield

A 31-foot tall Abraham Lincoln statue is being erected in Springfield today. Sixth Street, from the north side of Jefferson to the south side of Madison, will be shut down from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. so crews can put the statue together. It’s for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, and it will be up until September 2020.
