More Lawmakers Unite Against Stopgap Spending Planners

Another group of lawmakers in Illinois are saying it’s a budget or bust. A number of Democrats and Republicans at the Illinois Capitol yesterday signed on to a letter opposing a stopgap spending plan. The lawmakers say anything short of a full state budget will only make Illinois’ fiscal problems worse and delay the state’s ability to recover.
