Lemont Mayor Chosen To Replace Republican Jim Durkin In State House

Lemont mayor John Egofske will replace outgoing Illinois Republican House Leader Jim Durkin. He was selected yesterday to fill the 82nd District Illinois House seat. Egofske will continue to serve as mayor. Durkin also endorsed him calling Egofske a proven business leader and outstanding public servant.
