Lightfoot Celebrates Completion Of Terminal Five At O’Hare

Mayor Lightfoot is celebrating the grand opening of the new eastern extension of Terminal five at O’Hare Airport.  Crews broke ground in 2019 on the one-point-three-billion-dollar modernization of Terminal 5.  The project increased the terminal’s capacity by 25-percent to improve efficiency and reduce delays.  Passenger amenity space was also increased by 75-percent.
