Lightfoot To Give Farewell Address

Mayor Lightfoot will be giving her farewell address today.  The one-term mayor will deliver the speech this afternoon at the non-profit BUILD on the West Side.  The address will be live-streamed on the city’s social media channels.  Lightfoot is being replaced by mayor-elect Brandon Johnson, who will be inaugurated on May 15th.
