Lincoln Land Sells At Auction

It’s not clear if the owners of 30 acres of land that once belonged to Abraham Lincoln are going to farm it or show it off. The land was sold at auction yesterday in Coles County. The 30 acres was just part of almost 600 acres of farmland that was being sold. The buyer paid 300 thousand-dollars for the 30 acres, and wants to stay anonymous. Lincoln bought the land from his father, and it has changed hands several times throughout the years.
