List Of Endangered Historic Places In Illinois Includes Will County

A preservation group is unveiling its list of the Most Endangered Historic Places in Illinois for 2022. The list is a call to action for historic and culturally significant sites in Cook, Will and Winnebago Counties that face a serious risk of demolition or are suffering significant neglect. The list includes the Century and Consumers buildings in Chicago, Gillson Park in Wilmette, an old caretaker’s house in Dan Ryan Woods and the old Will County Courthouse.
