Big Run Golf Course Lockport/md

The CITGO Lemont Refinery recently acquired the Big Run Golf Club in Lockport, to expand the greenbelt around the refinery.

The owners of Big Run Golf Course had marketed the golf course for sale as a housing development. But the property had issues with “continuity and easements to entertain Lockport utilities,” in a statement to WJOL.

According to CITGO, Big Run will continue operating as a golf course under the current management for the foreseeable future. No word if CITGO will upgrade the clubhouse or make any improvements to the course.
