Looks Like Mud Now But By Next November It Will Be Home To Costco

If you access I-55 from Route 30, then you’ve seen that field that will be home to Costco. Crews are clearing out the area and the project is coming along nicely. Plainfield Mayor Michael Collins says the new Costco store being built in his village, will have access from Route 30 and Renwick Road.

Outlots will be available. Also in the works, Mayor Collins says they’re working on getting Plainfield’s first hotel. More than 70-acres lies between Joliet and Plainfield and both cities signed a intergovernmental agreement to move forward with the project. The projected opening is November of 2020.
