Lostant, Illinois Man Wanted For Domestic Incident And Firearms Infraction Arrested In Elwood

Elwood police help an out of area police department to execute a search warrant and arrest and find more than half a dozen firearms and boxes of ammunition.

Elwood Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of Bush Drive in Elwood, to assist the Lostant, Police Department in LaSalle County to apprehend a suspect. The man was wanted on suspicion of reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault from a domestic related incident that occurred in their jurisdiction.

Elwood Police located the suspect, took him into custody, and turned him over to the Lostant Police Department where he was later transported to the Lasalle County Jail.

A search of a residence and vehicle were conducted in the afternoon hours of October 23 rd 2019. The firearm suspected of being used in the Lostant incident was recovered and turned over to the Lostant Police Department as evidence. Seven additional firearms and various boxes of ammunition were seized from the residence.
