Man Runs Into Traffic On I-80 In Serious Condition

A pedestrian was hit on I-80 after he ran into the far right lane of traffic on Tuesday morning. Two tractor trailers were traveling I-80 eastbound at Pulaski Road in the far right lane. A pedestrian ran into the far right lane of traffic and was struck by both trucks. The 23 year-old Homewood man was transported to a local area hospital in serious but stable condition. Two lanes were shut down for investigation between 11 a.m. and 11:45 on October 8th. The investigation is open and ongoing. No reason why the man ran onto the Interstate.
