Mask Mandate Statewide and Vaccine Mandate for Education and Health Care Workers

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has reinstated the state’s indoor face mask mandate to begin on Monday August 30th. Masks are expected to be required for anyone over two-years-old in all indoor public places. Pritzker’s also announced a coronavirus vaccine mandate for all K-through-12 teachers and staff in Illinois as well as healthcare workers or subject to be tested regularly.
