Metra Board Votes Against 2019 Fare Increase

There’s good news for Metra riders.  The commuter rail agency’s board members voted yesterday against a fare hike next year.  The panel also stressed that Metra needs to let lawmakers know exactly what service could be cut over the next few years if they they don’t get the money it needs.  Cuts could include entire lines.
