Minimum Teacher Salary Bill Passes House

A bill that would require a 40-thousand dollar minimum teacher salary is moving forward. The bill passed the Illinois House yesterday evening and would phase in the increase over five years. The bill passed last year, but was vetoed by then-Governor Bruce Rauner.
