Monkeypox Case Reported At Cook County Jail

A case of monkeypox is reported at the Cook County Jail.  Officials say the individual was isolated right away and the living unit was quarantined. The infected person reportedly contracted the virus before being ordered to jail.  Cook County health leaders believe the risk is low for the general population to get infected with monkeypox.
