A trio of stars took part in a unique event at Chicagoland Speedway on Thursday morning. Monster Energy Cup NASCAR Driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Motocross Racer Ryan Villopoto and Tyler Kinney of NBC’s Chicago Fire all hit golf balls off the grandstands of Chicagoland Speedway to promote the NASCAR Summerfest Weekend from Thursday June 27th to Sunday June 30th. The group then took a ride on pit bikes around the soon to be installed Pit Bike Track to promote the first ever bike event at the track. You’ll be able to watch former professional supercross/motocross racers challenge one another on Pit Bikes during the NASCAR Summer Festival Weekend at Chicagoland Speedway during the Inaugural Pit Bike National. The complete rider list and times will be announced shortly. For admission to the Chicagoland Speedway Pit Bike National, you must have a NASCAR ticket for that day, or a Sunday ticket. Tickets must be presented at the viewing area for admission. The NASCAR Summerfest weekend at Chicagoland Speedway will take place from Thursday June 27th to Sunday June 30th, concluding with the Camping World 400 on Sunday afternoon.
