Nearly 180 Crashes Statewide During Snowy Weather

Illinois State Police are reporting that they handled nearly 180 crashes statewide because of snowy weather. The crashes yesterday came as the state saw nearly half a foot of snow in some areas. Road conditions included snow and ice-covered roadways before weather improved yesterday evening.
