Nearly 200-Thousand Daily COVID Tests Administered Per Day In Illinois

With nearly 19-thousand new COVID-19 cases reported in the state Thursday, people are lining up to get tested in Chicago. The city’s positivity rate has increased to eight-point-six percent currently as Chicago is now averaging more than 23-hundred new cases per day. With the holiday weekend upon us, residents are trying to get a test prior to gathering with family and friends. Illinois is now averaging more than 198-thousand COVID tests administered per day.
