New Chicago City Council Sworn In At Lori Lightfoot Inauguration

Lori Lightfoot is now Chicago’s 56th mayor. She was sworn in this morning along with 12 new members of the City Council. There will be 12 Latino aldermen, which is the most in the council’s history. Treasurer Melissa Conyears-Ervin and Clerk Anna Valencia were also sworn in.
