New U.S. Census Bureau Report Shows Illinois Population Increased

The U.S. Census Bureau is revealing that Illinois was undercounted during the 2020 census. A review of the census data shows that Illinois was undercounted by nearly two-percent. That means that Illinois’ population grew by nearly 250-thousand people and is now above 13 million people for the first time in state history. Governor Pritzker celebrated the news, saying Illinois is now a state on the rise with a growing population.
