November Is Winter Weather Preparedness Month

With snow in the forecast for this weekend, Illinois’ emergency managers are reminding folks that November is winter weather preparedness month. IEMA suggests that drivers put a coat, blanket, hat, gloves, and scarf in the car. As well as some kitty litter for traction, a first aid kit, and a shovel. Emergency managers say the best way to stay safe is to be prepared.
