NWS: Timeline of Rain & Snow

Snow is transitioning over to rain this morning, mainly across areas near and northwest of I-55. Farther northwest, snow will continue throughout the day with additional bouts of heavier snow expected during the late morning and afternoon. Across the rest of the area, rain will gradually switch back over to snow through the late afternoon and evening with a potential for patchy blowing snow with wind gusts up to 40 to 45 mph.
