Online Petition Seeks To Rescind Honorary Doctorate From Rapper Ye

An online petition is calling for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to rescind the honorary doctorate given to Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. So far, eleven-hundred signatures have been collected. Ye has recently been making antisemitic hate speech, which sparked the petition. The SAIC awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2015.
