Outgoing Governor Rauner Fears More People Will Flee Illinois

Outgoing Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he fears Illinois will lose even more people over the next four years. The governor told reporters in Springfield yesterday that Democrats want to raise the income tax, the gas tax, and likely other taxes as well. Rauner said that will drive more people out of the state, and hurt Illinois’ ability to remain competitive as a state.
