Plainfield District 202 middle school students head to regional Spelling Bee

Seven Plainfield District 202 middle school students will compete in the 2022 Will County Regional Spelling Bee virtually on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
The students earned the honor by winning their individual schools’ Spelling Bees. Regional winners statewide will advance to the national Spelling Bee in June.
This year’s District 202 middle school Spelling Bee champs are:
- Aux Sable: Nathan Lynch (8th grade)
- Drauden Point: Benjamin Adjei Jr. (7th grade)
- Heritage Grove: Madeleine Yui (7th grade)
- Indian Trail: Warren Monday (6th grade)
- Ira Jones: Sean Jansen (8th grade)
- John F. Kennedy: Tristan Patel (8th grade)
- Timber Ridge: Anthony Gerges (6th grade)
