Police Identify Suspected Gunman In Deadly South Suburban Mall Shooting

New information is surfacing in connection to last night’s deadly shooting in the south suburban Orland Square Mall food court. Police say the gunman is 19-year-old Jakharr Williams from University Park. The 18-year-old victim has been identified as Javon Britten form Richton Park. Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities say Williams and Britten had an encounter earlier in the day. Meanwhile, the Orland Square Mall is open today.
