Pottery Barn Outlet Coming to Joliet; Replacing Gander Mountain

The city of Joliet has confirmed to WJOL that a Pottery Barn Outlet store is coming to Joliet. The facility will be located at the former Gander Mountain building located at 3301 Essington Road. The outlet store has signed a one year lease for the property and while the term of the lease is a short-term, the retailer has an option to extend the lease if successful. The current closest Pottery Barn locations are in Orland Park and Naperville. The Joliet location will be of the outlet variety. The nearest outlet stores are in the St. Louis area and in Ohio. The intent is for the business to be open to the public by this year’s holiday season.
