Pritzker Endorses Valencia In Secretary Of State Race

Another high profile name is backing Chicago City Clerk Anna Valencia in the hotly contested Democratic primary race for Illinois secretary of state. Governor Pritzker announced yesterday that he’s endorsing her over former state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias and Chicago Alderman David Moore. It’s the second major endorsement Valencia has received in the last week, after retiring Secretary of State Jesse White announced his support.
