Governor Pritzker is highlighting efforts to reduce violent crime ahead of Memorial Day weekend. This includes an 18-million-dollar investment for the project “Back to Our Future,” a youth development designed to address the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and reduce violence. The governor is also signing three bills that will help support carjacking victims and crack down on vehicle thefts.
