Governor Pritzker has issued a disaster proclamation for counties across central and southern Illinois that were impacted by recent storms and tornadoes. The proclamation grants the state the ability to expedite the use of state resources, personnel, or equipment to help communities recover. Six tornadoes were confirmed throughout Illinois last week. High-speed winds led to downed trees, powerlines, and other damages.
