Pritzker Issues Updated Mask Guidelines For Public Transportation

Illinois is updating is masking guidelines on public transportation.  Enforcement of the federal mask mandate on public transportation ended following a federal court ruling.  As a result, Governor Pritzker is revising Illinois‘ executive order lifting those requirements for the State of Illinois.  This means masks are no longer required on public transit, in public transit hubs, or in airports.  This includes the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra and Amtrak trains, and O’Hare and Midway airports.
