Insurance companies in Illinois must now pay for EpiPen injections for children with allergies requiring the treatment. Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the bill Friday requiring insurance companies to pay for the life-saving treatment for children. The cost for the two-pen injector pack has risen by more than 400-percent in the last decade to nearly 700-dollars without insurance.
