Ballot drop boxes are going to become a permanent fixture in Illinois. Governor Pritzker signed a billed yesterday establishing the boxes and allowing curbside voting across the state for early voting or on Election Day. A record number of Illinoisans voted by mail or through the secure drop boxes and curbside options in November’s election. The new law keeps these options available for future elections.
