Pritzker Signs Legislation Expanding Access to Prostate Cancer Screenings

A new state law will expand access to prostate cancer screenings in Illinois. Governor Pritzker signed legislation that requires health insurance and managed care plans to provide prostate cancer screenings without imposing a deductible, coinsurance, copayment, or any other cost-sharing requirement. This legislation goes into effect in 2024.
