R. Kelly’s Defense Team Files Motion For Acquittal

The judge in R. Kelly’s federal trial in Chicago will decide today on whether to acquit the singer of all charges.  Kelly’s defense team filed a motion for an acquittal, arguing that the prosecution’s evidence is insufficient to get a conviction.  Once the motions are decided, the defense is scheduled to begin presenting their cases today.  The R&B star is charged with production of child pornography, conspiracy to produce child pornography and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
