Rail Agency Offering Free Rides All Weekend

Metra is offering free rides on all of its lines this weekend. Rail officials say it’s their way of patting their riders on the back for dealing with the recent deep freeze. The free rides are also being used to boost weekend ridership. Metra ridership has taken a hit after dropping by two-point-two percent from 2016 to 2017.
