Report: More Legionnaires Bacteria Found In Manteno Veterans Home

The state of Illinois says crews found more of the bacteria that causes Legionnaires disease at the veterans home in Manteno. A Chicago radio station (WBEZ) reported on the discovery yesterday. The state says it found the bacteria in three new locations in the home, water is being delivered to residents to keep them from getting sick. Illinois is testing the water at all of its veterans homes after an outbreak at the home in Quincy killed 13 people since 2015.
