Reverend Jesse Jackson Urges Trump To Pardon Blagojevich

The Reverend Jesse Jackson and Jesse Jackson, Junior are urging President Trump to pardon former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. In a letter sent to the President last week, the father and son said Blagojevich should be released from prison immediately because his sentence is unfair and unnecessary. The ex-governor has already served over seven years of a 14-year prison term for federal corruption charges. Trump said last year that he was considering commuting his sentence.
