Route 66 Blood Drive a Huge Success!

The Route 66 Blood Drive at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet was a major success!
The American Red Cross said the event exceeded it 80 unit goal by collecting 90 units. Over 106 people showed up to give blood.
1340 WJOL was broadcasting live from the event and helped promote it. Harrah’s Casino Joliet was on hand and presented the Red Cross with a check for $10,000.
The next American Red Cross Blood Drive will take place at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet in September.
