Sears HQ In Hoffman Estates Going Up For Sale

The headquarters of Sears in Hoffman Estates is going up sale. The Daily Herald reports Transformco plans to put the headquarters and 120 surrounding acres in the northwest suburb on the market at the start of the new year. Sears moved to the burbs from Chicago 30 years ago. Transformco is a privately held company formed in 2019 to acquire some of the assets of Sears Holdings Corporation.
