Drivers should plan on more slippery road conditions this morning in Chicagoland. The National Weather Service says wet snow is expected throughout most of the area, with up to four inches in some parts. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until this afternoon in Cook, DuPage, Lake, McHenry, and Kane counties. The hazardous conditions could impact both the morning and evening commutes.

Meanwhile, Chicago is coming off a historic day of weather. The National Weather Service says one-point-two-inches of snow fell yesterday in the city. That broke nearly a one-hundred year old daily snowfall record for Oct 30th, which was point-seven-inches set in 1923. More snow is expected today in the Chicago area as trick-or-treaters head out for Halloween.
