Second Shooting on Ottawa Street in Joliet

Joliet Police are investigating a  second shooting on Ottawa Street on Monday morning. It was 10:23am in the 400 block of Ottawa Street that authorities responded to an incident involving shots fired. Upon arriving Police discovered a 19-year-old male who had been shot several times in a leg. The victim is expected to make a recovery.

This is the second shooting in the area of Ottawa Street after a 16-year-old was shot and killed on Sunday morning.
