Seed Exchange Taking Place Saturday

With the warmer weather in the area, it’s time to start thinking about spring. Get a head start on your garden by visiting C.A.R.E.’s FREE Seed Exchange. It’s not
necessary to bring your “GMO Free” seeds but if you do they must be clearly labeled. There will be a variety of FREE organic (often heirloom) vegetable and flower seeds to start your garden.

There will also be a short presentation on “Bringing Wildlife to Your Garden” where you can learn how to save seed, protect bees, as well as chat with other gardeners and food experts.

The Seed Exchange takes place at the White Oak Library – Lockport Branch on Saturday, February 10th, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. For any questions, call Mary at 708-204-6924 or Ellen at 815-592-5629
