Senate Passes Resolution Honoring Wadee Alfayoumi

The U.S. Senate is paying tribute to the six-year-old Palestinian American boy who was stabbed to death last October in Plainfield. The Senate passed a resolution this week honoring Wadee Alfayoumi. The measure recognizes his death as a hate crime. U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth were the chief sponsors of the resolution.
