Senator Dick Durbin Announces Plans To Run Again

An Illinois senior U.S. Senator says he plans to run again. Senator Dick Durbin announced yesterday that he plans to run for a fifth term in 2020. Durbin is the second most-powerful Democrat in the U.S. Senate. He already has an announced Democratic opponent, state rep-to-be Anne Stava-Murray. She said this week that she plans to run for Durbin’s seat next year.
