Shedd Aquarium Announces Major Renovations

Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium will be getting a facelift. Facility leaders announced today that the aquarium will undergo an eight-year, 500-million-dollar transformation. The changes include new immersive exhibits with bilingual signage and updating existing animal habitats. All of the planned upgrades will be completed by 2030. The aquarium will stay open throughout the project.
