Slippery Roads During Morning Commute

Drivers should be prepared for slippery roads this morning in Chicagoland. The National Weather Service says freezing rain is expected, which may cause hazardous travel conditions. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. throughout the area. People are urged to slow down and use caution while driving. A winter storm headed our way for the weekend. Sow to develop this Friday afternoon and into Saturday with significant accumulation possible.
