Springfield Attorney Sues Pritzker For Defamation

A Springfield attorney is suing Governor J.B. Pritzker for defamation. The suit is the latest in a line of cases filed by Thomas DeVore that relate to COVID-19 mandates. The defamation suit relates to comments Pritzker made last month when the governor addressed DeVore’s filings on behalf of clients suing 145 school districts and the governor. Pritzker called DeVore a “grifter” at a press conference and said the reign of grifting and terror will come to an end.
