State Board Of Elections Launches Accessible Vote-By-Mail Option

The Illinois Board of Elections is launching a new effort to make it easier for those with disabilities to cast a mail-in ballot.  The blind and visually impaired can now request a special ballot so that they can vote privately in their own home without assistance.  Security envelopes will be mailed out but the actual ballot will be sent electronically. Those interested can contact their local election authority for the special ballot.
